they are willing to sell or rent land. They want to rent
office space locally to get started. They do know that
they must contact all parties in the City of Marysville.
The financing is coming out of mainland China. The Taipei/Director
General was here the next day. He expects to be here for
the BokKai parade.

Business:
1. Fundraiser
at the BokKai booth/George: George suggested selling 2003
calendars to be printed locally. Jean felt it is too late
in the year and the prices quoted were too high. The Committee
suggested ding this next year when we have more time and
possibly better prices. Shirley volunteered to help with
this if done early enough.
2. Items
to sell at the booth/Denise: Suggested items from the
Oriental Trading Company as a way of raising fund for
administrative costs. She will bring in a catalog next
meeting for the committee to look at.

asked permission of the Board to allow the Executive Committee
to review the letter of intent and to send it due to lack
of time. M/S/P.

A copy of the HSR has been placed at Sutter County museum.
The Yuba County Library has improved their security problems
in the past few months but still not fool proof. They
would like to have a copy of the report but can't pay
for it. Paul suggested putting it on a CD for them. George
suggested we wait for a librarian to be hired.
VIII. Comments from the floor: A. Kay:
Sister City needs to be reimbursed by the BokKai Committee
for the drawings that were done.
