Minutes
I.  Meeting was called to order at 6:10 by Chairman George Rios
Present: Gary Arlington, Shirley Evans, Carol Nelson , Kay Cockrell, Phil .... Billie Single & George Rios

II. Consent of Agenda: All present consented to the agenda

III. Correspondence: none

IV. Review of Minutes: September 24, 2001
accepted by all present with all typographical errors made by the Temporary - Secretary - George Rios.

V.  Treasurer's Report: : – Copy attached:
A. Treasurer's Report was reviewed and accepted as presented by all present
B. Donations was: $378.00
C. Deposits: Marysville Chinese Community Inc.; $3,000.00

VI. Guest Speaker:
none

VII. Action Items:
A. Old Business:
1. Sister Cities would be preparing a check for Western sierra Architects for payment of outstanding invoice.
2. Update on Wine Tasting fund-raiser - Kay
Kay indicated that Posters are out and tickets are available for all to sell. The only items left is the setting up of the food, cost and planning of set up for Saturday morning on October 27, 2001.
3. Update on next step to stabilize beam: Athena. Athena was not present.

B. New Business:
1. City of Marysville -Bok Kai Restoration report George did apologize for not having a report at this time. It was a legal holiday and City Hall was open but George did not know it was open until 4:45 PM. A report will be made available for the next meeting.

VIII.  Comments from the floor:
A. Phil - Mr. Danial Barth of the Yuba County Historical Society is requesting reimbursement of the initial cost to join the National Trust. The cost was $150.00 dollars. Discuss was held with a counter request of a signed invoice on letterhead indicating the cost and purpose. It would be considered at that time.
B. Kay Cockrell requested a reimbursement of a donation the Marysville Covillard School made to the Bok Kai Parade in the amount of $150.00 dollars. This would then be deposited into the Restoration account of the Friends of the Marysville Bok Kai Temple. Notice would be presented to the Parade Committee as soon as they first meet.
C. Billie S. would be CRUISING 'D' street for donation
( I here by plead the 5th . I just write what I hear. )

IX. Next scheduled meeting will be October 22, 2001 at 6:00 P.M. at a location to be announced.

X.  There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 PM.
